    Default Getting Tuned on Thursday.

So the day has finally come, im getting tuned for my 80's and e85 on thursday. The tune is from Eric Bristol(GMredline/Ebristol) and then my buddy aj(AJSS) will be dialing in my maf and tweaking it for my car. So my performance mods are 2.8 pulley k&n CAI, zzp s3 with cutom option b, cobalt addiction shorty header, zzp catted downpipe, 2.5 inch straight mandrel exhaust to borla xr1 muffler, and now 80's and e85. What yall think i will hit for whp numbers lets take some guess's.

    You have a wideband right?

Lately I have been having troubles with my new e85 tune.

When using gasoline stoich levels my car runs mint, but multiplying the maf to compensate for the extra fuel sends some other maps in the tune out of wack. I still perfer this method because of my luck lol.

I have been trying to get my car running using the correct stoich ration (9.8) and have been having a hell of a time. My car just doesnt like me

Good luck man and e85 is FTW. If you have any questions and cant get a hold of anyone feel free to pm me. As I might not be the most experienced but I will lend my knowledge if you need. I have thursday off too.

Nope not yet. Getting the cc paid off a little before hopping into the rsfs. Rsfs, exhaust, and clutch is the next purchase on the list and then its valve springs and smaller pulley.

Your difficulty might actually stem from just modifying your maf table. I assume your 100% maf, if not, thats your issue. As I understand it changing the stoich value actually rescales alot of other tables in the ecu that have to do with fueling......which could be where the error in you AFR stems from.

I'm not an expert on the matter, just figured I'd offer my point of view.

I understand that, as I am on top of that and have gotten my car running on the 9.8 stoich level but what do you mean by the bolded part? I have had no problems stemming in my afr.

Honestly my car feels the same on either stoich value but some parameters and tables line up better on the 9.8 stoich level and it seems the 9.8 stoich level pulls a bit harder because of the more control of the timing table.

ahh I get it. No technically the way the maf was raped was working out better. When I was switching it to 9.8 My car would go randomly pig rich out of the blue and not be able to recover. Something like 40%. It would happen randomly but run perfect otherwise. I got some different tables to try to run and they worked out better. Everything is golden now and works fine.
