    Default And the search begins!

So, I am finally going to be able to get another car in about 6 weeks.

I am pretty dead-set on an Ion Redline.

What should I look for/run from?

Obviously I want Recaros, Comp Package, etc.

What's the normal compression of an LSJ?

Will FE5 Struts work for an IRL?

    TIA.

anywhere in the area of ~200psi per cylinder. as long as they are within 10psi of each other you are pretty much good to go. and yes FE5 struts will work but they need to be modified. i believe john powell posted a how to here

    As am I.

IRLs can be found for as little as $6,995 with 87k on them. Not too bad if you ask me. Hell I could j00 them to $5,500 cash I'm sure.

farmer is working on a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$. evo is out of the price range. i believe the ion redline is really going to be a bang for the buck car for him. it is not strange to find them in the 9k to 10k area with relatively low miles

    Indeed.

    Just ask Illini_06SS.

Looking for wingless, will settle for anything with the Comp Package, new radio, and Recaros.

And we all know I want blue.

    'Cause Blue is Fastah.

Just wondering what makes you want the Ion over an ss/sc? I personally cant stand the gauge cluster.....but I suppose the rear doors would be nice.

    Money.

Saturn's don't go for much these days.

    Chevy's still do.

Plus, it's not a very common car.
