    Default MAF-only Supercharged LSJ

Am I the only one who completely disregards the VE table and uses the MAF's readings to calculate fueling? I have my MAF dialed in perfectly (for the summer temps/humidity here in upstate NY) and the car runs great. 20* max timing up top, 11.5AFR in PE (although it gets down to ~11.2 by 7100 in 3rd), and ~30mpg in the "city" and as much as 36+ on the highway.

I gotta thank Paul for the base map but once I dialed that in and made some other changes, the car has never been as much fun to drive as it is now. All of this is on a 3" pulley and GM 42# injectors, showing a max of 88% IDC at 7100rpm in 3rd.

I advanced the outer timing tables as well as the upper by 2* from Paul's base map, and that seemed to have made a night and day difference with drivability around town. I no longer feel like I am being passed by minivans when I take off normally from a start. lol

Most people do just maf tuning. When you start running bigger injectors youll see problems at low rpms. I personally tune VE and MAF, although i disable ve and run pure maf above 4k

switching to MAF only made a HUGE difference in driveability after switching to e85.

    I can imagine.

My plan was to go e-85 this summer but I just bought a yakima roof rack and plan on buying a Pamlico 120 kayak this weekend, so that idea has been put on hold until further notice. lol

MAF only works fine but you can really smoothen things out with a VE/Maf blend

i have my switchover point at 500rpm so im basically pure maf, could i make my idle better by switching that point to say 1500rpm?

My car idle's perfectly with MAF Only @ 750rpm.

If you properly dial in the MAF and the Injectors, you shouldn't have any problems with rough idle. A lowered base Fuel Pressure helps me out, as well.

I have mine VE until 3000, and IMO the car runs like poop. The shifts hang longer and the car seems to ping under load.

    JUNK!
