Default '80 Monza Spyder - Ecotec powered

Before you guys get too excited and want to see pics, I don't have any, I'm still in the planning stages of this build.
The plan for this car is to be a tad bit on the overkill side for a street car, in the chassis dept, with the power coming from an Ecotec motor (still not 100% sure which one, but leaning HEAVILY on an LSJ/Turbo).
I plan to install a cage and build a chassis using a triangulated four link for the rear suspension and fabbing some type of front clip but I'm not 100% on the front suspension yet either. I've been thinking about C4 'Vette stuff.
A friend of mine builds drag race chassis and will be helping (a lot) with all the fabrication. The cage probably won't be necessary as far as 1/4 mile times go, but I'm using it to stiffen the chassis as I'm wanting this car to have some road race 'flavor', if you will. I'd like to eventually make some 'open track days' somewhere, and will probably not pass up many autox events that are near. For the most part, I want a great handling car that is fun to drive on the street.
Sure I could drop in a small block chevy and easily make more power, or an LS motor even (that tips the scales lighter than a traditional SBC), but what would be the fun in that. I think an Ecotec under the hood would be awesome.
Let me know what you guys think, and if you have any ideas, don't hesitate to fire away!

ECO Monza will be badass, I wish I still had my Monza chassis, It would have been absolutely sick with a nice mean ECO in it.

Got pics of your starting point at least?

    Maven,
Have any thoughts on what ECO I should use? I don't think you've given your opinion on this yet (here or over at the ECOforum).
    What about the LK9?
I'd like to be in the 300-350hp range.

We are using the LNF 2.0 turbo on our project. With the GM stage one kit and a Modern Performance intercooler we should be around 310 HP. Here is a picture of our project.

    Thanks, Chuck

a tuned lnf turbo motor should be more in the 320-350hp and the "TOO MUCH" tq area!

Good work both of you guys...

    keep it up
