    Well DAMN

Forged rods and sodium valves eh?

    Needs more cubic centimeters

Even at 1.8L and a larger turbo, not even LNF sized...would...probably make some sweet stock numbers.

They dropped the DI feature on this engine and the power numbers/economy didn't change

Still not an ECOtec as I know it.

Not saying it's a bad engine...and looking at the cutaway it isn't terribly different from quick glance.

I would love to see them side by side honestly or some schematic/blueprints.

Knowing my 'IT'S A FARCE' self it's probably a smaller displacement ECO, flipped around

(not really I saw a different flywheel and a few other things including external mount accesories and I am pretty sure I saw a power steering pump, amnotthatdumb)

yeah their seems to be more external things on the 1.4...could be bc its so tiny they couldnt put them as part of the engine...

They are all like that, you're really used to looking at an ECO and not a 'conventional' engine
