Ladies and Gent's. This is the Official Check-In Thread for Tail of the Dragon.

When: October 22, 2010 - October 24, 2010
Where: The Dragon at Deal's Gap. Detailed Information below
Time: Deal's Gap NO LATER than 10:00am. Unless otherwise posted
What To Bring: While some radios may be provided, it is going to be a smart idea to bring 2 way radios/walkie talkie's. Cell Phone service up there is practically non-existant.

There are going to be 2 locations where members will be staying at during that weekend. Robbinsville, NC and Knoxville, TN(just outside)

With 10 rooms confirmed, ]I can get a group rate that averages out to $80.00 plus taxes/night. 2 Queen beds, Comfort Inn 208 Market Place Lane, Knoxville... If this falls below 10 rooms, you're looking at $100.00 plus taxes/night. Large parking lot, lots of food places close.

2nd group qwik runs with canaduh and others (danew, we bro' doncha know?)
3rd maven steddy runs with all the gmsc hero worshippers from .net lol
4th YOU look after Whitney Steed and rob, ttmr etc.
5th group NASKRON is the local expert he sweeps the tail picks up the stragglers with the 5th group
the way i see it. its really up to Jeremy he is the leader

Food and Merchandise at Deal's Gap

I believe Maven will have shirts for those of us attending the cruise. I will double check with him to see what all he is going to have for the cruise. Once I know more, details will be added.

If you all want to have a lunch/dinner at Deal's Gap, please let me know by Friday's deadline as well. That way I can get an accurate headcout and inform them at how many people they need to prepare for.

Most importantly. This is NOT a race. This is a cruise. So sit back, take it easy with your right foot. Enjoy the scenery and have a great time.

I think the 1st one looks the best.

Do you have any ideas as far as a quote/logo we could use? I want something that incorporates all gm sport compact vehicles. So far, throwing your site in the quote works best.

I am not against more art in the shirt but Im not superfond of the Deals Gap shirts/them just putting our text on their design. Everybody has those shirts.....

it isn't our font, but the font for the words 'tail of the dragon' could be in that font.

I'm not suggesting you change the font for our group at all/

also, there is a site called www.dafont.com that has all types of fonts on there, even unique ones.

Might wanna check that out.
