    Default Steering wheel controls

Excuse the misspelled words, I'm a retard.

Haven't seen anywhere how to do this, anyone know how to take the steeringwheel controls off? Not forever just remove to work on them, two reasons, blue LEDs, and my cruise is messed up. Thanks!

There's 2 little holes on the under side of the steering wheel. You need to put a skinny screw driver up there or a pick and just play around until you feel a metal tab then push it in the direction of the dash I believe. One on each side will release the air bag. Take out th air bag and there will be a little screw for each steering control. Undo them and un plug them and there ya go.

^^^Good info. Might also be a good idea to unhook the battery to avoid any accidental airbag discharge to the face. Maybe not needed, but never a bad idea.

Yeah you won't need to disconnect the battery but its not a bad idea. Unless you hit the sensors or somthing I highly doubt you will trip your air bag. Your going to more then likely have to reset your srs light I just remembered. Your welcome

Disconnect battery for extra safety, no need to reset light.
