awesome news!!!!!! platinum clear is there high end clear. amazing stuff but its hard to spray. a little misleading in a way. when ou lay down a coat you think you have standard orange peel but it flows itself out so you need to be fure to not put too much on. i have a spec book here with me so if you need information on ratios dry times or anything else let me know.

sorry imean the leather inserts. its a lighter blue than the exterior. for the door panels and seat inserts.
also i guess i'm being unclear. The decanning model paint was just to explain how/why to do it. I was only asking if anyone had ever tried decanning caliper clanker cans to spray them. again, my bad i will try to be more clear.

its fine..like unsaid they make a brush on caliper paint. .that or BC/CC or powder coating is gonna be you ticket...also take those to a leather or upholstery shop they will tell you
k sounds good man, i'm going to PC them eventually but i'm going to try the colors in paint first, to make sure i like them, cheaper this way
Thanks for the help!

Honestly I wouldn't even try spraying that crap out of a air brush either. Usually airbrush paints are pretty thin. I could only imagine trying to spray caliper paint let alone reducing it down. Honestly I would just find a paint code or lik tyler said go to an upholestry shop and they will guide you in the right direction. In all honesty if your trying to get paint to match just take a piece of the fabric or something and have a local paint supply store. Try and match it. They can cross refrence quite a bit

I'm gonna BC/CC my front calipers white when I get calipers worth messing with....
that will look hot, not many people do white. whats ppg? again i only did model painting so im new to paint types, all i know is acrilic lol

ppg is a paint manufacturer/ supplier.
My calipers are BC/CC'd by Gestapo007.... I thought about white too but then I'm glad I didn't... especially with our dusty pads they would be brown all the time...
Prob why they don't do it in white... LOL.

I mean they will come clean but you'd have to wash them off every day with the dusty LNF pads... ha ha ha
LOL...yea I'm trying to find a set of Acura tl-s brembos for the front and paintem white...
also ppg is a paint distributor as dub said but they really aren't the greatest in mine or omioteks opinion...
I'm itching to try some of the standox platinum line that omiotex mentioned...
PPG is from what I have gathered your run of the mill stuff...
All my buddies back home all used and swore by HOK but i have heard things about them lately tooo.
HoK isn't what they usexd to be IMO BUT that being said their candy's, ice pearls, opals, and specialty stuff is still top notch...IMO
House of kolor is also one of the few paint lines that will mix candys and still have pigments to do that. Like for instants the candy max orange on the gsxr 1000 or hayabusa. Dupont standox ppg spies and hekker basf etc don't even carry pigments to make the color anymore.
Honestly if I had my choice of spray line I would be sparying basf(used to be called rm) and standox being a close second.
For white calipers I recommend doing powdercoat. White paints tend to yellow faster. You can always redo them though
