Is there a VA chapter? I know there used to be but some sh*t happened and I wasn't too clear if there was a new one. If so who's running it? If not, why not? Plenty of VA folks lurking around on several different sites. CONSOLIDATE!![]()

I step forward for a lot of things. If we get the bodies together, I wouldn't mind heading up the group for this state.
I know the NVE guys have their own little thing going, but they would be a chapter under a bigger heading.
i thought this had been tried with no success
like last year or w/e. when josh was the pres for like a month then he left the scene and nothing became of it.
with the white ss 2.4?
yes. that now owns a lava orange or something like that miata that is slammed
okay. I know he just disappeared.
we can try it again. I think it just depends on how involved everyone up there is.
I'll be living up there soon so I hope you guys don't disappoint me.
huh? we had a chapter about a year ago but the rep got out of cobalts and nobody stepped up. Im not sure how many guys was in it as I was new to the cobalt community myself. We dont require you to be in one club only you can be in multiple ones for all we care. This is just a good way to keep everything organized and keep members interested in there cars and there friends that drive them. We dont require anyone to go to meetings or pay dues. All we ask is to hang out and keep us in contact so we talk to you.
well honestly from what i was told it was you guys down south that didnt want to do a joint thing.... now that might not be true i honestly cant say that was just what i was told. i dont think we disappoint. we pretty much meet every week atleast once a week, usually two to three times though in some form or another
that may have been the case, but I've been here in the group for three years, and never got word of it.
the main issue with down here is that this is a heavy military town. commitment is going to be limited because we are in and out so much. Over teh last six months, we've lost three guys to deployments, one moved back to michigan, and I'm moving upstate.
it's just the way things are down here. But there are some committed guys down here. I have the voice in this area. We can give it another try.
I'm one of the most involved in anything going around these parts.
I"m always down.
okay. there's really only two groups in the state, and that's the va. beach/tidewater group and the nve guys.
no reason why this can't get off the ground now.
I'm sure we'd love to be affiliated with ECC. Back last year Josh disappeared off the face of the earth. So, a few locals made NVE. Since then it blew up into what it is now.
