Default How many Kappa guys here?

Just curious as to how many Kappa guys there are here? I know alot of the guys are on the Solstice Forums, just seeing if any have trickled over here.

If there are any over here, check out our parts offerings for Kappa's, if you have not already. Let me know if I can answer any questions as well, I will be happy to answer them!

I plan on being a Kappa. I just got 20k of debt taken car off. Now just need to pay off the DD and find the kappan I like. I have looked at your site and there are some things on there I plan on getting. Still on the fence if I want to do the RKSport body kit or stay with the stock look thought

Depends, IMO, the RK kit looks MEAN on the coupe, but not so good on the convertible. Lemme know if I can answer any questions for you.

I found pics of a guy who bondoed the body kid (side skirts and front lip) into the stock parts and it lokked 100x times better. I dont' think I will do the hood since it really is not functional.

BTW the Sky does not have a coupe version, just the convertable.

Yeah, IDK... the whole blended thing is cool and all, but what happens when you need to take the bumper off to put on a bigger IC or to fix something?

I would think if it was blended correctly it would just be a bit bigger to take off but no damage done. Like I said I am still on the fence about it, I like the idea of 100% stock looking but I do like the look of the body kit.

IDK how that would work. If the plastic bumper is blended to the metal fenders, they really aren't one piece. I would be afraid that the bondo would break. With our car being a TT car, the bumper is off quite often, and would not benefit from being more complex to take off. If it were a show car, then I could see it. Just depends what the goal of the car is, I guess.

You blend plastic to metal by using fiberglass it wont stick and overtime will crack and fail miserably and cause a lot of problems and more money spent........ fiberglassing metal in will cause a ghost line eventually too especially if the car isn't black you will notice it...... the fact that our werks solstice is taken to the track is more then enough reason to not mold any exterior parts to the original body.

Its like this evo im working on now...we hard bolted the fenders and bumper together well guess what it literally ripped the aluminum tabs right off the fenders and now the guy needs fenders....there's no real way to hold a body kit on though that stuff doesn't just use plastic push clips and snap ins like the factory stuff
