    Default Random Question on signup

the first random question i was given when i signed up asked for "Which car had both the 2.2 and the 2.0 motors?" I failed it because i wrote "cavalier and cobalt and others" ... that question may want to be changed up a little.

and given the majority of members on here, and what they drive i think its an OK question.... i mean lots of cars have a 2.0 but they aren't answers for GMSC.net

now HHR maybe i could see that....

    the answer is Cobalt.

the HHR is either a 2.4 or 2.0

same with the Sky & Solistice.

HHR's had the 2.2, so that should be an acceptable answer as well.

The hhr shares all engines on the platform as the cobalt does.

    He is right.

Op, welcome to the site. The question might be geared toward the delta platform owners, but it is a valid question with the answers given there.

    Again, welcome

Cobalt, HHR, and the Ion all had 2.4, 2.2 and 2.0 motors.

Are you serious, or do you just think i am an idiot???

1982 - 1990 the cavalier base model came with a 2.0 OHV engine... in 1991 it was stroked to a 2.2 OHV engine (RPO Code LN2) which was used until it was discontinued in 2002 and replaced with the L61 Eco.

so question then... if this is a GM Sport Compact site, why is it geared towards Just the Delta platform, and not to all GM Sport Compacts, such as the J bodies, the grand ams, Grand Prix's, etc... without supporting all the GM Sport Compacts, you might as well call this "The new Cobalt ss dot net" and leave the all encompassing gm sport compact site to others

well then, i stand corrected. i'm sorry for me being wrong, thanks for the history lesson.

this site isn't even a year old, so information about all the other GM Sport Compact vehicles is still coming in as is new members with those other vehicles. you've been a member of this site for all of a week and you're going to start talking trash about it already? that's not cool at all.

and it's pretty dumb to get all butthurt about a security question.

Might as well use RPO codes instead of displacement because honestly its the most vague way of describing an engine. I

Thanks for being a dick. The site is pretty new and it just so happens css net was failing so a lot of people jumped here. I'm sure everyone loves your attitude on the other forums. Good luck to ya champ.

This site is geared toward and welcomes ALL owners of GM sport Compacts. It may seem Delta biased at this time but thats largely because the Delta is the current platform with the moost vehicles on the road right now. I will be sure the security questions change since its causing such an issue and isnt fully accurate.
I need to engage in homicidal activity on a massive scale......
