Thats a full out race only engine. somewhere well north of 280hp NA last time I heard.
The Cruze Cup cars, get full cages, good KW suspension, good wheels and decent tires, and thats about it. They are much like showroom stock here or a Spec Miata class. They cant touch the engine or drivetrain. They use the 1.8L in the LS
