Says the guy trying to get rid of his car...if I didn't have to tune then tune on top of the tune all on my end... the only reason you wouldn't get it is money reasons Dub. Sides you act like I would get rid of mah cable

I would love to see it, but there has been a lot more than the handful here barking up the Vince tree for awhile.

And a lot of the 2.2 guys overlook LS2Edit...one for price and two because it's not HPT...even though the interface is very similar

price difference is minimal, its ust that its not the "in" software, and you cant whore out your tunes to make your money back. EFILive is also an good option, but that IS quite a bit more.

Ive been pressing Vince about this since I got my cable and he is starting to crack a bit. It will likely be a Lite Version of his own stuff using ECUFlash. You will still have to buy a basefile from him for your Serial Number, so that takes care of the licensing. You won't be able to share any file from any car, just like you can't now with his stuff.

Im interested to see what he comes up with

IMO, it should be just like HPTuners... where you are able to buy credits and tune other cars, as well.

That would be the best thing for business, imo.

So, I know old thread and all but is this dead in the water? Being stuck with the "forgotten" L61 Trifecta is the only option, and I'm growing tired of the uber safe tune on the car.

You can tune 07+ L61/LAPs with HPTuners.

he still does plan on doing this.. in some form it's just a matter of getting the time to put to actually doing it.. normally winter is his slow time but he's still been busy with tunes

I thought this need dropped once HPT opened up the fueling & MAP tables. Does TF have any tables over HPT on the LNF now?

I dropped the TF Layer tune once we got those HPT tables and learned the stock base file held boost better with the 3 bar sensor tables plugged in.

Yeah, for LNF's... no reason, that I'm aware of anymore, to really need Trifecta. I think the older 2.2's are the ones that really need the help with tuning software.
