Well, it seems DDM has changed their harness and bulb suppliers, and i'm not happy with whatever they use for the new stuff, simply because it's much more of a PITA to install.
So, i'm doing a little write up.
My recommendation would be to read through this entire write up, then install the harness, and plug the bulbs into the harness etc. before installing them into the headlight itself. This way you can test the system to make sure it's working properly.
Tools:
-10mm Socket
-1/4" Drive Ratchet
-10mm Combination wrench.
-Dykes/sidesnips.
Step 1
DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY
Step 2
Modify the harness so you can actually use the + / Power end of the harness.
Step 3
Use 10mm wrench to remove + terminal.
Slip + lead from harness onto the terminal, and re-install terminal post.
Step 4
Now you'll have to insert the pins on the harness into the blue plug supplied with the kit. This plug will connect to the blue plug behind the driver's side headlight.
(Note: Plug from kit not shown to clarify wire positions)
Step 5
Remove your headlights. It takes a (SURPRISE!) 10mm socket. I use a 10mm bit in a cordless drill to make this step a bit quicker.
The stock headlight bulb is held in by a locking collar. Turn this collar counter clockwise to release the bulb.
Now, the DDM bulbs are a two piece design, and will not fit unless you remove a locking ring on the bulb as well.
Remove this Ring, and the bulb will look like this:
Slide bulb through locking ring that you removed from the headlight carefully. DO NOT touch the bulb with your bare hands. Oil from your fingers will seriously limit the life of the bulb, or worse, cause it to heat unevenly and explode.
Reinstall locking ring back onto bulb:
The bulb should now be snugly attached to the headlight locking ring. Carefully insert, and lock the bulb into the headlight housing.
Repeat for both headlights.
Step 6
Run the supplied harness to that it is easy to connect the leads to the ballasts and bulbs. Preferably out of sight.
Step 7
Connect the harness grounds. I used the ground post behind the drivers headlight, and the passenger fender attachment bolt for this.
Step 8
Connect the bulbs to their ballasts, and then connect the bulb/ballast to the harness. All of the connectors only go one way.
Now, tuck all the wiring away, zip tie things so they don't flop around, then reinstall headlights.
This how to is just a guideline, I assume no responsibility for poor installs.

the issue with the tech 2 is it has to have the saab firmware, i cant use the tech 2 that isnt running saab firmware. Based on results from other saabers, using a 55w HID kit will prevent the "left/right low beam failure" messages. Changing to xenon using a saab tech II is to help with the HID flicker...
