*sigh* gotta love a defensive ass kicking
The game that offense forgot. Some of the worst Texas playcalling that I've ever seen (Thank you, and goodbye, Greg Davis). Suh is a hell of a player though. And Nebraska still couldn't pull off a win against Texas. 1-9 against Texas in Big 12 competition. No wonder they're running to the Big 10.![]()

Yeah... that sucks. A lot of people saw it coming though. Him leaving... not necessarily which team he was going to. Its obviously not about the money though.

Villeneuve winning the 1997 F1 title in the final race in Spain, when Schumacher tried to take him out in turn 2… and lost. Classic.
That and his Indy 500 win in 1995.
Oh. And anytime the Habs lose.

2010 SS/TC: GMS1/Trifecta, Turbo XS catted, Pedders, Koni rears and PRS Stuff.
mine is different nowlol
lets set the stage: 2011 Canadian Grand Prix. they had to stop the race fairly early due to heavy rain, and resumed it 2 hours later. on a wet track, that was drying gradually.
Jenson Button had been hit by his teammate Lewis Hamilton on lap 2, and had to pit. putting him in dead last, 24th place.
then shortly after the race resumed, he was given a drive through penalty, and was once again in 24th place.
he was fighting his way up the field, and on the second to last lap he was right behind Vettel who was in first place.
I highly recommend watching the full race if you can get it. it's one of the best I've ever seen. the race boiled down to who could cope with the low traction.
"You nail that turn in point, and you nail that apex, and you nail that track out point to the inch. If the car the whole time while you're doing that isn't screaming bloody murder, you're not at ten tenths. And you need to push a little harder."

Carlos Pace. F1.
The most memorable moment in sport that I will never forget was a Mosport in the early 70's. I was in a guest box above the pits when Pace and another driver exited turn 10 down the pit straight side by side. Pace was on the inside and the other (outside driver) moved across the track to intimidate Pace, when the other driver banged his wheels throwing Pace up against the pit wall. Pace didn't let off!!!
Pace blew down the pit straight up against the wall, spewing paint off the wall and and all sorts of other debris in his wake. It was an unbelievable sight. Everyone on the inside of the pit wall "flew backward" as this cloud of white debris (from the paint) blew up into the air. You have to remember that this was back in the days when driver communication was done via pit boards. Plus Photographers, had pit access. There were lots of people hanging over the pit wall for all sorts of reasons.
I've seen some incredible races at Mosport, but those five or six seconds will live in my memory forever.
I'm a huge Utah Football fan, so of course my memory is about that.
The second year Urban Meyer was at Utah they went undefeated. I had been to every home game that year. The final game was at home and against rival BYU. That game was always close, usually decided by less than 7, usually on a last minute play, and usually won by the visiting team. This year was different. As would be expected, this game was huge. If Utah won they would be in prime position to bust the BCS. If BYU won they'd ruin any chance of Utah playing in its first BCS bowl game, and the first non-BCS school to play in a BCS game. It was such a huge deal that ESPN College Game Day came out. The school was even anticipating the fans rushing the field and placed stairs all over the field so that people could get out of the stands safely. And, Utah fans came with sombreros and bags of Tostitos chips. Utah easily won 52-21. The sombreros went flying and the chips were raining. My wife (who was just my girlfriend at the time) and I were among the many that rushed the field. It was so packed that being in the crowd was like being in the ocean with a current. You moved where it migrated and just tried to stay on your feet for fear of being trampled. My wife almost lost her footing so I threw her up on my shoulders.
In true fashion both goal posts were taken down, but unexpectedly they migrated to the to of the student section where people started to cut them up. 1 foot sections were sold on Ebay for as much as $1,000 each. Several minutes went by and on the jumbo screen they started showing the post game interview. During the interview the Mountain West Conference president said that Utah should not be penalized due to their success and the conference would break its contact with the Liberty Bowl should Utah be selected to play in a BCS Bowl game.
Utah was picked to play Pitt in the Fiesta Bowl where they easily won and broke many Fiesta Bowl records. My wife and I were also at that game. We helped break the bench we were on because, in true Utah student fashion, we were standing on the seat the whole game, jumping up and down the while time. After Utah won the police started tasing tasing Utah fans that got too close to the fence around the field even though the players came to us. Their reasoning was they were afraid Utah fans would rush the field and take down the uprights, thus causing problems for the NFL game the next day.
Even though the 2009 Sugar Bowl where Utah destroyed Alabama seems like it was a much bigger deal, the Fiesta Bowl was much more memorable for me because I was able to be a part of it and experience it in a way a fan should be able to.
