Ced meet <texas>

Alright guy, i have scheduled my vacation time around this meet. Making this to see who else is going. We can use this thread to work things on out on where we can all meet on our way out there...from austin, im looking @~1100 mile drive. almost all of it will be straight highway. Post up if you are going and city you are from and possible meeting location. For the most part looks like we can all meet up with the DFW crowd in the dallas area and than roll out from there. slowly we can start meeting with guys from the states we're crossing....and together we will take over the highways lol...

now another thing is, do we want to make a straight drive? or are we stopping somewhere to stay the night? what works out for everyone? anyone bringing passengers who can drive stick? that way we have someone in the group to give some drivers a break and use them as a backup driver...

i will get bored if i make the drive, gets to repetitive just driving...and driving...and driving...and than more driving...so boring....now with more people its a bit funner bc everyone is playing catch up with the car infront of you...

Sorry, I don't play that game. I hit the cruise control and relax. On this long of a journey, at least.

Long road trips are all about your mental mindset. If you go into it with a negative attitude... the trip is going to suck and seem to take longer. If you go into it with your eye on the prize... things start to seem more enjoyable. Its all about keeping your mind busy, as well. Good music goes a long way.

i drove to oklahoma a couple weeks ago.. it did ok but i was getting around 24-25 mpg. considering my balt got like 38. this sucks

i REALLY wanted a kappa but the car is too small for me. 6'2" 220

didnt want another delta at that pt, and i couldnt find a vette in my price range with the mileage i wanted. gto fit well.

gas is fine for what it is. but i wouldnt do a cross country trek

Not if they are a dedicated cobalt owner. I went to the sry nationals last year and there was people from Cali that came to Ohio for a one day drag event.

i still pass. i would love to go but its too far of a drive for me plus i dont have any off time so i wouldnt have even been able to make it if i wanted.
