    My question is, why does my car forever throw this code and what to i need to to do fix it so it doesn't come on. I'm not just going to turn the code off because that wont help anything.

    Sounds like the evap purge valve is stuck open.

    Most likely EVAP purge solenoid like Pyros said, but I also replaced quite a few fuel tank pressure sensors for this. If you dont have the ability to diagnose it properly, id go with the purge sol.

    actually i just replaced the fuel tank pressure sensor(mounts to the evap vanister) and its still throwing the code

    i'd love to do that lol emiss. crap is whats been causing all my tuning headaches, bad sensors, things creating vacuum leaks...never get any other codes other than evap/emiss now

    In all reality... its a pretty straight forward job... you just need some plugs to plug the Fuel Line Connectors... along with a few other things.

    Elaborate PLEASE, im wanting to delete my evap set up, just dont wanna mess anything up or cause fuel leaks anywhere, post some pics!

    As an FYI, mine isn't 100% deleted. I use the EVAP line as a return line for my AFPR.

    And when I get time, I'll go to the garage and take a few photos.

    i have a complete evap system works fine. I think thats the responsible thing to do . Its why I run a cat also and pass emissions.

    yeah if you can give me some better pictures that would be great rob. i want to delete that crap ASAP. get rid of the solenoid and line up front as well to make it cleaner
