Got my brembos, donor car was a 09 ss/tc, did a ss/sc brake swap+cash...i had these calipers for months, they were going to be used on my ls...

total swap time took about a hour...i went out and bought him new rotors and pads for the LSJ set up



Here's my brembos..will prob prep and paint them friday, install is schedule on saturday...or friday if i feel like it...debating on what color to paint them...color matched white like the rears, or paint front and rears bronze....











as a reference for these behemoths....they are damn big...

bought autozone cmax gold brake pads, they are ceramic, came with the brake hardware kit for both sides too. lifetime warranty, which covers wear and tear, so when they wear down, i can just take them in and get new ones...also got saab 9-3 aero blank rotors which should be coming in today. i dont really autox or do anything to demanding with the car, so i got them bc a) i needed new rotors and pads anyway, b) got them for cheap, and c) the money i paid helped out a friend...

Are the lines long enough for the caliper?

yeah my stock lines are waaay longer than ss/tc lines, if i leave them as they sit now, they come up 1/2" too short...what ima do is undo the strut braket for the line, that will free up a good inch or 2 when the wheel is fully turned, so i should be ok....biggest issue is the banjo bolt for the brembo is smaller than the saab one, so thats why ima use copper washer to seal...the head of the bolt is still big enough, its just the shaft of the bolt thats thinner...at least thats what other people posted...both of which were a little vague on the subject...ima make a how to for saab guys who want to piece the brembos together themselves...bc everything on the forums is vague as ♠♠♠♠ when it comes to this;
