thanks for the comments....sucks i already have issues, among brake squeling...the rotors themselves have a lot of grooves in them, like you can see rings...they look like rotors that are over a year old...damn cheap ass autozone rotors....good thing i have the Gm OEM rotors from when i got the brembos....found a machine shop who can machine them for me. going to have the hub bore bore'd to 70mm so i can just use the GM OEM blanks....maybe down the road when they wear out ill get the R1 premium slotted rotors...

i know that, but i need to way to keep the rotor surface clean from brake dust or debris that might get caught between the pad and rotor...thus preventing this from happening to my new rotors....

You could always go to a softer pad like a hawk if the car is just used on the street.

I ran the stock pads and rotors for 21000 miles before getting the floaters and they have barely any grooving. And what is there is nothing more than normal.

My mistake! I replied in the wrong thread. I was checking to see if these wheels fit over the Brembos on an SS/TC. I don't have a 9-3 on hand to check if there's anything dimensionally different between his 9-3 and a Cobalt that would make them not clear.

eventually...suspension handles fine the way it is, so its not a top priority for me right now, a drop would be more for the look than anything...but i want to do the springs when i do the koni yellows...so it prob wont be for another year or so...need to finish working on brakes(looking for 2 piston rear upgrade) and than get a tune...downpipe...than maybe a drop
