Captain Slow's wagon......

i'm going to attack the exterior of the wagon within a couple weeks and these are my thoughts.

1. add chrome door & liftgate handles. the only chrome on the outside of my car is the wheels, i really like them. but i think a little bit chrome on the exterior would be nice.

2. getting rid of the HHR, TURBOCHARGED & square GM badges. going to put black inlays on the SS badges & bowties (front & rear) with keeping the chrome outline. i have a script CHEVROLET from a 57 Chevy that i want to get cleaned up, chromed & 3m taped where the HHR badge currently is (bottom lefthand corner of the liftgate).

3. i'm also thinking about black vinyl the very top of the wagon where the sunroof & roof rails are.

4. black depo headlights.

5. night shade the tail lights & side markers.

6. powdercoat the calipers a gloss black (the red was ok but i'm not feeling it anymore).

i would get in soooo much trouble with a brushguard on this thing. i'd hit everything from trash cans to small children.

Here ya go. I kinda like it but will look much better with the black depo lights. And dont forget the chrome mirror caps. And those marker lights across the top of the windshield might complete the look.

if i do anything with the mirror caps..... it'll be black. i'm not 60+ years old and trying to put every piece of chrome i can find on it....... i have taste.

i'm not sure about the bezel. i know you do wonderful work, i just can't afford doing that right now. i'd rather put that money towards other things (as you can see with the list above).

what do you do for the lights?
