Napa sells stage 1 axles. There under 100 bucks. Pm tennpenn83 on here he has all the part numbers for them and yes u can buy just one of them. This is for a lsj I'm hoping. U can go to redloneforums.com also tennpenn8r has a thread about them. Search napa stage 1 axle or some ♠♠♠♠. Good luck.

LNF axles will fit an lsj trans but you have the change the hub to lnf one too.

So basicly stg2 lsj axels>lnf axels for a lsj. Both in streght (afaik) and price.

I dunno about strength, lnf axles are beefy. Price they win over stg 2 though.

Most likely not unless he's really abusing it or launching really aggressive with slicks.

The napa/ stg 1 axles will be fine the most applications.

that is correct, \To fix that, you can install grand am wheel bearings which can be 114.3 x 5 stock or 5 x 119 (cobalt the holesd are there on an skf bearing just need to be clearanced. BUT u also need to machine the outer diameter f the grand am wheel brg to fit nside the stock lsj rotor, the grand am wheel bearing has the same lsj abs tooth count. running without abs is stupid, \i got customers who do that they are smart kids but thats a stupid thing to do so go figure. \i run that set up but use a lighter 300m axle shaft with the grand am outer bell coz I am a slave to liteness

So napa Axels are def Ottp stage one Axels??? Cause I just order them at napa

  15. #15

    Default

yes u can order just one at napa. yes there the ottp stage 1 axles. what i was sayiong about the lnf axles and lsj ones is that there not a bolt on swap. u can make anything fit if u have deep pockets and the skill. but the op wasnt looking for that from what i know. just save urself the headache and keep buying the napa ones. for there price and strength i dont think ur going to beat them. dss stage 2 are the ♠♠♠♠ but very pricey.... so u need to decide what u want out of them op....

Someone told me that the napa axel will break wit 250 Hp or dig or a burnout is this true I starting to stress the ♠♠♠♠ out

if im not mistaken some one ordered the ottp axels and they left the napa part sticker on the axel or some ♠♠♠♠ like that. thats how it came out that they were the same. the napa are also 1 mm thicker then the stock ones. now this is all what i have read. i didnt get the set with the part sticker on it lol so im just repeating what i though most were aware of.

do u go to the track a lot?
do u run slicks at the track?
what the hell mods do u have?
    lsd trans?

i mean cmon man my stock axles have taken way more then 250whp. so i dont know what to tell ya. if ur worried about replacing a 90 dollar axle, maybe u shouldn't be racing ur car...

this is absolutely not true. i am far above the 250hp mark and have done many dig races and burnouts without issue. still running my napa.

hell, my stock ones were perfectly fine when i took them out a couple months ago. only reason i replaced them was because of a torn boot (which was my fault anyway)

as long as you don't wheel hop, either stock or napa will take you probably as far as you need to go in the car. most people are not pushing enough to break the napas, but the incorrect driving method and wheel hop is what would kill them
