"Saab is turning the spotlight on the all-new 2012 9-3 with the promise of improved performance, looks and efficiency.

Buyers will have a choice of two 2.0L engines featuring direct injection and variable valve timing. The first one generates 163 horsepower, while the second gets a twin-scroll turbocharger that boosts output to 220 horsepower. It's also available with Saab's Cross-Wheel Drive (XWD) technology."


Looks like they are going to be putting the LHU in the saab 9-3, something they are already doing in the new 9-5's...
