Default 2004 ion redline obd 2 pin out diagram

hey guys, since most other forums are useless and i couldnt find the answer on google, im looking for the pinout diagram for the obd2 port on my redline. its a 2004.

the reason for this is i am having a short to my interceptors. I couldnt even get the scan tool to hook up, just kept flashing. the reason i know i have a short is due to me being able to move the port, and when i get it in the right spot my gauges will work. and sometimes the scan tool would hook up until it moved slightly.

Anyways if anyone has the ability to post or pm me the pin out diagram that would be great. mitchell and mitchell did not have the one for the redline and i didnt want to try and trust the regular ion as they most likely are different.

once again, im iso the obd2 port pinout. those who have access please help.

    Thanks in advance.

    GM OBD2 ports are standard.

    1 Low Speed GMLAN
    2 Class2 Serial Data
    4/5 Ground
    6 High Speed GMLAN+
    13 High Speed GMLAN-
    16 Battery Positive Voltage

As an LSJ youre not gonna be using High Speed GMLAN, youre data comes from pin 2.

Question, any differences between the 06 and 07 wire pin outs? They should be in the same locations no?

Actually J1850 VPW is class 2, which is used across all LSJs. C1 Pin 16 on the PCM (data) runs straight to the OBD2 port. I know there is something special about the 04s though. I think they use a different command set or something.

If you're talking 12v, data, and ground, then yes same pins. Not sure about anything else that might be connected to the port.

i still havent had much time lately to really fix this problem, or even to look at it. i have a question to add though. do the pins from the back go all the way through the obd2 connector port? or is there something in the obd2 port that carries the signal from the wires in the back to the openeing in the front.?

The female terminals attach directly to the wires and are just held in place by the plastic connector body. The body does nothing else.

2004 Ion workshop manuals that I purchased have no LSJ/Redline references.

Not sure if this is cobalt specific but my 06 LSJ has a different pinout than what is shown above. My car uses 1-2, 4 5 6, and 16 18. I'm guessing because I don't think prior to 07 they used gmlan.
