I'm getting tuned next week, and I have a few DTC's that I'm trying to troubleshoot. Right now my car is daily drivable tuned, and I just don't pound on it, but i'm going to a really good dyno shop next week to get tuned at 22lbs and I just want to make sure that everything is as it should be. I know some of these will be fixed with tuning. I just want to double check with those that are smart
I did a 50% throttle pull, hit about 12lbs of boost, and it kicked into ENG PWR RDC.
p0068-Throttle body airflow performance- This caused the low power mode. I have to imagine its a vaccum line, or that its because i'm not fully tuned. If I'm not mistaken, this will come up if the PCM detects that the BARO sensor signal and the SCIP sensor signal are not within a calibrated range of each other, whether that value is negative or positive. So that could also be fixed with tuning.
p1182 & p1183-Supercharger inlet pressure sensor. Right now I have a supercharger delete kit on my car, however when I go for tuning I will have a saab intake mani on my car. There was no place for the sensor so I just disconnected it and left it in the supercharger. This I know can be shut off via HPT.
p0140-HO2S Heater Performance Sensor 2 ECM, PCM--My secondary 02 sensor was eliminated a while back when I was supercharged, I have to imagine thats what this is from.
Just to sum up, my question is, can most of these can be fixed via HPT with a little tuning? Except for the p0068 if its a vaccum line?
Thanks guys!
