    Default So apparently a 2jz to a solstice/sky is like an ls1 to an rx7

    2JZ
    swapped oil pan to rear sump
    stock solstice trans with 1JZ bell housing (bolts right on)
    Stock 2JZ motor mounts (bolted right to the stock Solstice mounts!)

    Now he's busy wiring it up, but so far the motor dropped right in. Trans is in the stock location so the shifter didn't even move.




    Matty: The LNF MAF doesn't like extra air flowing past it and not being tuned for it.

    Matty: Nope, just saw the legs twitch a bit, must beat it more. not sure EVERYONE on this forum understands it just yet.

    yea but think of all that space that would make working on it so much easier. not to mention you could do a awesome turbo header.

    i am like you in respects the the jap in american musscle but still it would be easy as crap to work on.

    the turbo header on pauls car will be a work of art i have no doubt in the guy doing the fab (same guy that i went to for my ♠♠♠♠ lol)

    there's a 2jz camaro i see at car shows here in TX all the time, looks damn clean, prob faster than it ever was with the 350 in it....or 305 lol

    they put a SR20DET (i'm guessing, i don't know Nissans) in that old Mustang on F&F Tokyo Drift.
