    Default ooohhh nnnoooo a newb

    Hows it going? my name is Joe.I am from niagara falls ny and I am the proud new owner of this wonderful 2008 ss tc I picked up the car 10 days ago and I am very happy with the decision. I was told by a few local enthusiast that the car color is very rare for a ss.

    I am not a complete newb this vehicle replaced my stage 2 lowered 2008 wrx impreza wagon.

    I am also a service manager at a local automotive repair facility as well as a complete car nut. well thats all I have for now.

    the color is what sold me on the car plus 26k and dealer maintained. only thing that made me nervous was it has had 3 sets of front brakes put on (i know about the tsb)

    There was a small run of 08 VINs that had the rotors in question...whoever had it before you needs to learn how to brake

    the third set was done by the dealership for certification. which the idiot technician could not get the pins out of the calipers so he ended up using a carbide bit and grinding the caliper through the powder coat. which they are going to put on two calipers for me no arguments.

    Keep the stock ferodo pads...you shouldn't have any issue with the fronts...its the rears that get eaten up

    ferodo pads are definately the best out for the car atm and if they get paired up with the coleman rotors that powell supplies its an unbeatable combo.let us know if we can help you in the search for any aftermarket parts. color isnt a very common one thats for sure.

    buddy of mine on here has a 09 wrx wagon aswell and byt and myself both have 2.5rs gc chassis subbys
