Exterior reactions: car doesn't look that special to me...looks kinda cheezy. And those rims remind me of SRT4s
Who's messing with the radio or drinking when you should be DRIVING?

Look! They put the pedals close enough that I can heel-toe without adding pedal covers!

    I'd drive it.

2010 Cobalt SS's were on par with base V6 Mustang.

Eh, it's no RS. I am not really all that impressed with it, kinda ugly and less HP than what the LNFs had

    Here's the pics of the $100 000 ST-R

Also, here is the Fiesta ST:

It's a shame GM doesn't have anything to compete with these cars. The Sonic is rumoured to be getting a performance version, but so far it's nothing exciting.

The ST has been available over seas for a few years now. I guess this is just the redesigned one, and the one coming to the US. I've been waiting to see the RS... there are a one in the US, but registered in mexico jalopnik did a article about one of them. Here's the article http://jalopnik.com/5535150/2010-for...first-us-drive

The Sonic is actually supposed to beat the Fiesta (there is no ST) in every performance category. I've been in one we had here and it was a decent car to drive for a the class its in. I think it has the potential to destroy the Fiesta, especially if they make the Sonic RS with the 170+HP 1.6 like the rumors are for. As it is now the Sonic 1.4 is already the most powerful car in its class.

I drove a 2012 Focus S hatch and didn't like it, mainly because of throttle response and factory shift points (auto). It was very strange that you had to mash the pedal and.................oh, there it goes, but then when it shifted, it would lurch forward. No torque down low at all. Steering tracked well and it felt nice and planted in the corners though. Interior was a bit tight for us fatties.

There isn't a Fiesta ST yet, but as the pictures show, there will be. We just have to hope it coming over to North America. It's rumoured to have a 180hp ecoboost similar to the Sonic RS, so it should be a good fight between the two.

My friend paid less for his 2009 Challenger than a 2009 Civic SI, or to stay on the same manufacturer a Caliber SRT, this isn't uncommon
