Default Anyone that wants a long term investement.. that will pay HUGE

Buy shares in a CDN bank.... it's crazy!!!

    TSE:RY - CDN - 45.73
    NYSE:RY - US - 44.26

    They are so cheap!!!

Put in 5k, you get $235 year... in dividends
put in 10k, you get $472 year in dividends

Let that sit for 10 years, and buy back it's own shares.. over 5500 will be made on shares... price goes up $20 to where it should be....

on a 10k investment you will walk out with $20k, in 10 years... that's 10% a year ROI

and of course if dividends go up, etc.. etc.. you can make more... worst case scenario you break even

pfff suit your self.... it's such a great time to buy almost anything

The Toronto stock market took a nosedive Thursday morning, dropping almost four per cent after yet another gloomy assessment of prospects for the global economy.

The S&P/TSX composite index tumbled 458 points or 3.8 per cent to 11,496.84, while the junior TSX Venture Exchange lost about 91 points or 5.4 per cent to 1,612.47.

The steep decline follow an assessment Wednesday from the U.S. Federal Reserve that there are "significant downside risks to the economic outlook." The Canadian dollar tumbled alongside many other currencies as the American central bank's warning pushed investors to the perceived safe haven status of U.S. Treasury bonds

you havent accounted the loss for market flux..... your just counting all the gains and none of the risk, as of now everything is good but the forecast changes.

unless its a locked[idk the term] shares [ bluechips?] .

loss for market is irrevlant to me as this is all long term, pretty much I start with 200 Shares... Divident time comes by, It automatically buys more shares in the company at a 2% discount, at the lowest price during the week or day "forgot" so I now have 202 shares, next quarter 204, keep doing that then all off a sudden I get 3 shares, then 4 then it keeps on compounding...

ughhh you can't have locked shares, unless your talking about bull♠♠♠♠ mutual funds, that the banks make money off of? bluechip is tech stocks?
