    Default Project Deviance

Managed to get 2 days off to start my project so I thought I'd start a lil' thread here to post some of the progress I've had thus far...

Started work at 6:30 Thursday morning, started to gut some more of the interior...

Took out the carpet and a few other things misc pieces. At some point it occurred to me that I was up for inspection in a couple months, so I decided to go get her inspected before I start this craziness!!

Got back dropped the engine out, cleaned the dust off the new engine and bolted it in.

Replaced all of the interior wiring and bolted in the Cobalt dash structure, everything fits like a glove so far and it looks like the only things I'll need to modify to make work will be the center console brackets where the armrest and airbag module bolt in.

Still waiting on a couple parts to arrive before I go much further and I also need to find a set of 17" rims so I can use the brembo calipers.

I'll post some more stuff when I can.

interesting things going on with inspections in Ontario. Say you drop an LS3 into a 69 chevelle? your 69 Chevelle gotta conform to corvette ls3 emissions including fuel system vapor recovery....big fines if you do not do so....
