    Default poly front cab?

I was doing some looking at .nub little while ago and seen a post that someone said you can use poly control arm bushing for a cavy in the balt.

I'm replacing my trailing cab with the mog part due to mine be all broken, but was wondering if its worth it to put the poly one in for the from bushing. I know john has a delerin front bushing but it seems to have corrosion issue if ya live in the salt ville And would be overkill for my use.
Worth getting the poly or just leave the rubber bushing?

Personally I think factory for your app is best. If the poly fits it woud be an upgrade but the only noticable aspect woud be the poly squeaking as you drive.

Poly is cheap. I saw that post, it isnt worth getting involved in the discussion sometimes. You get nothing for nothing. The poly stuff tends to compress and stay compressed leaving excess movement; so in the leading position, there could be direct compression to the center of the car, and also forwards and backwards in accelleration and braking, if you have a stock trailing bushing. Not good. The stock bushing has lots of friction but it does locate the arm well.

Like Matty O says I would stay with stock and replace the trailing bushing for most applications, other than track either drag or race/auto x apps..

I figured it be a waste to replace. I have the ac delco rear cabs which have the holes in them and I am replacing them with moogs which are solid rubber no holes. I figures if I replace the front bushing with something less compliant then the rear bushing may last longer? I am looking for long lasting since I don't like doing things over and over lol

the front bushing doesnt really wear out and poly is more compliant than stock, not less.

There ya go learn something new everyday here! I was thinking replacing the front with less compliant bushing would help the rear bushing last longer. But dosent seem like there's much benefit for me. I wasn't going for performance mire durability.
