They made drop springs too for the Cobalts.
Apparently the tester wasn't very happy with em too![]()

Good to know.
Just for the H of it, I sent a query to LMF asking for a shipping estimate to Toronto. They replied approx $160 CDN. (They quoted British pounds, but I converted.) Next, I will check brokerage and duties. (I'm not sure about B & D when importing from the U.K.) After I have established total overseas costs, I will approach Bilstein US and the CDN importer for costs just in case there is a savings. (I don't know if the CDN importer deals with Germany or simply through the US.)
Has anyone been able to find a source for these in the US? Everywhere I have seen to have them is in Europe. Looking to get these and FE5 fronts
things happen slowly when spending your own money to see if things work. News when it happens. Otherwise, go chase it yourself and let us know how it turns out...

FWIW I checked the Canadian distributor, and he didn't even have a listing for the part numbers. I haven't bothered to check USA sources. It looks like the easiest (for me) is order from the U.K. I'll order a set in Dec or Jan. Right now, I'm chasing down snow tires for my car.![]()
Plan on getting the rears, I have no reason to wait on others. What reasons should they not work, seeing as the Bilstein parts catalog lists them for the Ion and Cobalt? I never questioned the fitment, but instead was wondering if someone else has been able to find a US vendor that can source them
Thanks for the info John. The tire shop I deal with has two in stock, and are sourcing another two. If they don't come through Monday, I'll be in touch Tues. Polaris are a Barum tire (now owned by Continental). I used to rally on Barum tires. Took me to a second overall in the Ontario Winter Rally back in 83. Good rubber back in those days.
