    Default airbag sensor delete

ok I have 2 questions... I have a 07 ss/sc and I installed recaros into it... of course that means no airbag sensor... so I have that stupid light now on my dash...has a company came out with a delete system to shut that light off?

and my other question is just out of curiosity if I get in a accident will the passenger airbag still blow?

Depending on how the system works, it might not be too hard to create something that'll work. I have an 05, and don't think we have that system... but I'm assuming its something in the passenger seat that notices if there is someone sitting there or not?

You'll more than likely need to source out a plug (probably from a junk yard) that matches the one found on the seat. My guess is that there will be a power wire, signal wire - maybe two, and a ground wire. It'll then be as simple as looping the power wire around into the signal wire spot, to create the signal that turns off the light. Assuming that's how simple the system is. Checking someone else's car with a multimeter will probably yield the answer to that question.

BUT, then the airbag WILL deploy no matter if someone is sitting there or not. The solution to that, is to unplug the airbag.

Its a seatbelt sensor? Just buckle the seat belt... no worries then.

The passenger presence system is difficult if not impossible for the average guy to disable and turn off the failure lights. The passenger airbags is not supposed to function when the PPS is inop. The drivers bag still will.

Well... follow my post, dummy. At most, it'll cost you some time and a multimeter. You might actually learn something.
