power steering issue
Ok so.. let me start this by saying I've had the power steering recall done.. however right when i start the car sometimes the wheel does NOT want to turn unless it starts rolling.. It was doing this before and this is why i got the recall done (before it would randomly decide to do it going around turns as well) .. but it's REALLY annoying my battery is fine at the time so it's not like it's low so it's having trouble .. it just .. doesnt want to move unless the car is in motion..

eh they do that occasionally on start up. my always did that.... but at 106,000 miles my og power steering motor still works fine, just didn't like slicks lol.
Yes the HHR swap can work for him, 05 and up....requires a rewire( I got that) , and (very difficult, not a bolt on ) requires a Cobalt steering shaft UJ tig welded on to replace the existing HHR one, which is larger/different spline to the Cobalt. And also requires a bracket fabbed up to mount the HHR ps controller which is not integral to the ps unit like the Cobalt.

phucking annoying as ♠♠♠♠ .. i'll go to back out of a parking spot and the ♠♠♠♠ing wheel just wont move.. damnit that sucks it's just something i have to deal with..lol i was hoping it would be something stupid / easy to fix but of course not lol the hhr thing sounded good.. till i read all involved lol

got my power steering fixed todayit works better then it did when i was brand new and it took the guy like 5mins.
