low coolant?

so my car thinks it has low coolant.... i get the message almost every time i start the car. but the surge tank is filled to the full line. does anyone know what sensor the ECM reads to decide that it is low? or any other idea on why it would say that? coolant temps are steady at like 165-180 cruising and only go to 210-220 when sitting in traffic so its staying cool like it should just THINKS its low...

hoping its just the sensor. gotta order a new resivoir (i think, hint hint Maven) because it doesn't look like the sensor comes out....

Afaik you cant buy just the sensor so im gonna guess it doesnt.

Yea lol, simple place to start tho, and honestly idk where else id look after the sensor. Should be a simple system, sensor, wire, ecm.
