Cadillac Cts V-Series Performance Lab at California Speedway Fontana

Me and David Do got invited to be a part of this today it included free breakfast and presentation about the new V series vehicles coupe sedan and wagon then a few classes about esc traction control abs driver control track lines brembo brakes michelin tires and a mini drag race and auto x in a cts v6 car then we got to jump up to the big track and drive a cts v coupe sedan or wagon auto or 6 speed with an instructor and omg 556hp 0-60 in 3.9 seconds never felt better!

then we got to drive another cts v on the track with an instructor that was videotaped and will be emailed to us in a week or so.

Also got a nice parting gift an autograpghed poster from cts v driver and john heinricy and i also had them both sign my helmet and got a free cadillac lanyard and v coffee cup lol overall a good long and fun day and at only $72000 full loaded the car is a steal lol

And oh yea i mentioned i had a 09 cobalt ss to john and he said he has a blue 08 and loves it and mentioned john powell too and said hes a great guy and will be contacting john soon to get some of his new parts for his cobalt ss

thanks Mikey Glad you had a good time. I miss my CTSV but not enough to go into hock for another one. John Heinricy is one of, if not the fastest production sedan driver anywhere in the world. He knows good parts when he wants to mod his car lol

haha also talked to the brembo guy a bit and he agreed with you john that stock rotors and pads on the cobalt ss are the best for street/track use but he did mention brembo makes a 2 piece bigger rotor for the cobalt ss too is it the same one u sell or different?

no make mine its better than brembo and cheeper. guy from brembo is confused. they do a floating rotor bbk set up for sonic. 2700. got cash?

oh ok cool ill be saving up for when my rotors go bad lol also he talked about some new rotors that gm is coming out that have a special coating but you cant turn them but they last like 40-50k miles but not for performance cars

Seriously Brembo? Gran Turismo big brake kits for a Sonic? Maybe they see something in the car that I don't. Doesn't make much sense to put a Brembo BBK on a car that needs a sundial to measure its 0 to 60
