I'm scared to get the HHR back soon.

Glad to know you're ok, doesn't seem really bad unless the pics suck.

Na not too terrible. Ripped the rear lip off, and cracked it. He slowed down quite a bit, just didn't quite make it.

ya. here is what you do. as you come to a stop at a light you reference your rear view mirror to make sure your rear brake light signal has been heeded by vehicles behind. You also stop short of the stop line/ped x'ing by a few feet to enable a place for you to go forward without entering the intersection or running over pedestrians, if you perceive that the car behind you is not going to stop in time. reference rvm every 5 -10 seconds.

thats the short answer. The reality is, most folks dont use the rear view mirror much at all.

I am aware of all of this, and as such watched him come in too fast. However the truth is sometimes there is just nothing you can do. Plain and simple.

Not to be an ass, but ive managed a 21k lb hmmwv through out NYC, a cobalt in traffic I have no trouble with.

The big wing isn't bad, I'm tall enough that it blocks the middle of the car behind me. lol
