that would actually probably work great, cept with the 4.45 gears, cruising in 4th on the highway would get annoying @6500 rpm or so.

and I'll add a +1 for the exedy, it's noisy, its gotta stiff pedal, but that sucker holds some abuse.
I put a used one in that wasn't in good shape, ran it over 30psi on my car (somewhere in the 500whp 425wtq range) and it never slipped, put it in another car, and was going strong with 396whp 365wtq for over a year, has probably 45k miles on it and never had an issue.
