    Default Engine Rumble at 1X00rpm

First off happy new year lol

When I push in clutch and get of gas, and let the rev's drop... once it hits around 1600rpm to 1200rpm... I hear a rumbling/slight feel? Then it goes to around 800ish +/- and is whisper quiet.. at idle no funny sounds

I tried to take a vid with my blackberry, but holy crap does the sound suck on them
    Any one? Bueller?

G Speed is a regular guy and I would assume accomplished with track time and stuff. Beats me. But then the roadcone thread and the guy showing a destroyed exedy that is so clearly caused from over run on the road wheel dyno without decoupling, its not even funny.

But maybe i am weird because peeps dont understand over run.
    dead pedal
hand back to steering wheel not resting on shift lever
    off the clutch
    wait in neutral at lights
    off the clutch.
get out of first as soon as possible
    get off the clutch
    brake before turns
    brake before you downshift
    accellerate out of turns
    be patient
    brake sooner more gradually
    slow in fast out.
not fast in out of control in the middle crash at exit
    /end rant

Even tho i think its not a good idea, I've still yet to understand how leaving the clutch engaged after a pull on a chassis dyno would cause a clutch to come apart.

the motor is slowing down because the throttle is closed so the wheels are trying to stop rolling, but the dyno rollers are spinning and weighted to the car and are continuing to roll forward with stored energy. Torque multiplication is huge.

I am trying to figure out how this is hard to understand. Turn a bike upside down and crank the drive wheel up and let it free wheel. Try and stop the spinning wheel with your hand on the tire

I have never taken my car to a dyno, I simply thought you would just put the car in neutral and then release the clutch. Or would that have the same effect?

Hey everyone sry for the late reply, have been super busy. Problem is gone now? I had just gotten a car wash pre the problem happening? so iunno if that had anything to do with it..

And I wasn't getting off the clutch at 3k randomly.. it was when pressing in clutch to go to neutral before a stoplight

u are actually very lucky then. it doesnt make it right, and I really dont care. If your exedy breaks like that, its not exedy's fault. turn the page I am done with this crap
