LSJ top engine mount, all years the same?

The other day I got my new top engine mount in from CED that I ordered. On CEDs site the LSJ part number they list is 25974058, which is for the newer LSJs. The 04 and 05 LSJs had a different looking mount comparted to the newer years.

Here is a pic of the top mount used on the 04 and 05 RLs, same as what I currently have



Now here is the mount used on the 06+ RLs and I believe all year SS SCs. This is the part I received. Noitce the raised ribs on the casing and the mount to engine bolts are hollowed in the centers

I am guessing the there should not be any difference between the two mounts, and that GM is just using the newer style mount for service parts. I could not find a parts listing using the part number for the 04 05 RL top mount. I know the mounting bolts are a litle different, but is the mount to engine bracket the same for all years on the LSJs?

they are al the same, but the newer cobalt ones have two top ribs in the casting, hence the part number change^^^^see above. No problem, Rob, Me , Steddy,Blazin' we just point out that you young 'uns are reading impaired. even on your own threads....

Herp derp, I forgot I even posted that thread. Guess that answers my question then, if the mounts are identical other that a slightly different look then the mount to engine bracket should also be the same.

Young un, not exactly. Just getting senile anymore I guess before 30s
