    Default P0069

threw this code today..... engine is 100% stock.... Its cold outside (29* and snow), engine is warmed up prior to movement (at least 100* coolant temp, i know its not operational temp) wasn't beating on it, actually was doing ~20-30mph in 2nd....

also threw P0128, but that is a bad sensor, known issue, just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet, was told it doesn't affect anything really.

from what i read (CSS) its the manifold pressure being too high? bend/stuck valve? i hope not...

Might be a dead TB... although it usually throws a couple others, in addition to those codes.

Dead TB's seem to throw quite a few different codes... the worse they are, the more they seem to throw.

That's just a possibility though. Both of those codes were thrown, with a few others, every time I've dealt with a dead TB.

It's not good for electronics. Spray it onto a towel if you must.

If you take the intake manifold off, you need to replace the gasket, so keep that in mind.

He's an LSJ, not an LNF. If he has to take the I/M off to clean his TB, he's doing it wrong.
