awesome, another MN guy.
Yeah Kretty, seen you on MNSC before, glad to see you on a good site man.
From my personal experience with the deltas there are only a few common issues.
1. They eat ignition switches. I honestly think everyone I have known to own a delta has had one replaced.
2. Rear pins on the brembo equiped cars
3. Power steering units
4. Swaybar bushings (Upgrading to the 2 bolt FE5 system on my 04 Ion ELIMINATED THIS!)
5. Swaybar endlinks (Powergrids yay!!!!)
6. F23 Syncros and blocker rings.
Other than that the car is a friggin tank.
Matty: The LNF MAF doesn't like extra air flowing past it and not being tuned for it.
Me: I think dead horse is dead
Matty: Nope, just saw the legs twitch a bit, must beat it more. not sure EVERYONE on this forum understands it just yet.
Me:
Never touched my ign switch...
(which afaik would be the same from his RL anyway...)
Power steering was a voluntary recall, or just pony up and get a brushless from Powell
He is going to have FE5 suspension out of the box
Endlinks? Treat em like shocks unless you live in Cali, they WILL die.
Never heard sht Abt the synchro and blocker issue... Ever.

GMs answer to the swaybar bushings was to put in the bigger TC bushings, keep the tabs....lol. Put more pressure on the tabs and they will stay. haha
