    I recall you saying you use the sharpie paint markers. How does it not get ♠♠♠♠ed up with the high heat on the valve cover? Oh and great stuff by the way. I did something similar with sharpie paint markers on my bedside table. I'll post a pic up.

    Its cleared. The valve cover shouldnt get much hotter than 200 if everything is working right. It was an experiment it it worked out pretty good.

    I'd like to see what you got.

    I don't have a laptop so this is all off of the iPhone lets see if I did this right.

    Only thing I regret was not leaving More room for where I put Burn Rubber. Lol. Not the best but I dig it.

    Let me fix that for you...





    What'd you clear the VC and your car with exactly? I had something done on the hood of my Volkswagen... everyone I talked to said that if I tried to clear it, the marker/ink would run.

    He's gonna have another valve cover done this week. I cant wait!

    I used a standard two parts automotive clear. I use an oil based sharpie paint pen witch holds up to the clear better. you must, must do a very light dry coat to seal the sharpie let it tack and them clear like normal.

    I'll have to keep that in mind for the second edition of it.









    The summer heat killed it last year though. Its still there, but barely. NBD... I've always planned on having the car repainted.
