    Default LSJ throttle body on 08 LE5

    I know the wiring is different on the 08 LE5's for the throttle body compared to the 06-07's. And zzp doesnt sell the harness adapter. Im even still trying to get a price out of them for just the adapter plate. But does anyone know if a harness is made that will allow me to do a plug and play install? I know its a small gain but figure since I found a tb for 35 bux and Im going to need a tune anyway why not.

    So does anyone know?

    The restriction is in the intake manifold, going to big TB is of almost zero value on LE5
    I need to engage in homicidal activity on a massive scale......

    From what ive read the LSJ throttle body matches the inlet size of the manifold better and I believe the increase in size is less than 5mm so on paper a small gain should be possible especially with full exhaust intake and a tune (once the tb is on) And the 2.4 guys who have done it have liked it so I take that with a grain of a salt. And if it makes it a bit more responsive then I will be content as this is one of the last engine mods for this car so I can focus more on the other 2.

    On CSS, I mentioned to some LSJ guy something about using the LNF turbo set-up.

    Well they've been doing it for a while actually. And zzp makes the adapter plate for it. The reviews do seem pretty decent. And for 135 bux (100 for their adapter 35 for the th) I will try it lol

    Meh, WTF, give it a go. Its not like no one else has ever done a mod and then taken it of and ditched in hatred Experimenting can be fun, Ive just grown a tad tired of it since I now drive 80 miles a day with my only car. Oh, and the other day my dad said that he thought that my car probably had a rougher life and more parts changes than any of the factory development mules probably had

    This isnt my only daily and oddly enough I think soon here the vehicle that the cobalt was bought to replace as the dd is going to come back to replace the cobalt as a daily. So thats why I dont mind trying some of this. But from what ive read most people like it. So between that and zzp actually making the adapter to do it. I think theres enough good press to warrant trying it.

    Yeah I realize that much as well.
    But its a small difference so it doesnt seem like it would be too big for the LE5. But if I lose power I lose power. Im curious enough to try it. Found a throttle body just waiting for the guy to take it off his setup. Already talked to zzp about buying just the adapter plate (Im an 08 their harness wont work) and already found the harness.
