    Default down pipe arrived

So i ordered a downpipe last week, after some BS with UPS and signature required. Finally picked the DP. This a 3" OBX down pipe, prob one of the only things OBX did not rip of anyone bc aside from them, only Genuinesaab and overseas companies make them. And this ones design seems to be made for the 07 models with 2 cats and longer DP than the 03-06 models with 1 cat and shorter DP.

The down pipe itself has 3 to many 02 bungs, i have plugs for them already that i got from summit. Install should be tomorrow. I'll be plugging the 2 bungs at the end of the DP and one of the ones up top. When i get my wideband installed i'll remove the top plug and put the sensor there. Cool thing is the last bit there is not a fake cat, but a resonator, so thats kinda cool

I am going to deburr those bungs in there later tonight before the install too. This is going to used with my stock exhaust.

After this all i need to do is order the spec stg2+ clutch and flywheel(440lbs capacity), 60lbs'ers, than i can grab the e85 tune so should put me around 325hp/390trq

yeah dp was installed, runs nice and quiet if anything it sounds like a sportier exhaust now. if you didn't drive a saab, you wouldn't know the exhaust was modded from the sound alone. WHich is exactly what i was looking for, the performance, with none of the noise.

the dp itself came up short about 4", so i bought one of those exhaust pipes that are sorta flexible and used it to make up the difference, I'm in TX, they don't salt our roads, so i won't have to worry about rust. bolted it all down, and is ready to go. I did make a nice video of the car running open DP though

^^ don't know why smoke the muffler tips since the exhaust wasn't connected, but this was right after a cold start, so i can imagine it was still running rich to warm up

Really? What exactly would I know? Saab AB has filed bankruptcy, it done and over. People are bidding on its assets. Saab NA announced they are filing bankruptcy, and 99% of the remaining Saab US dealers have collectively filed bankruptcy......Theres no new Saabs being made, the factories are close, Saab cars have no warranties and are being sold as-is like used cars, because there is no one to back the warranty, and soon there will be no dealers to sell them.....How is that not dead?
