if the fuel pumps are the same regardless of model I should be able to use the stock pump with just about 400 whp.. given people have used it for more then that I think the test might be getting a set of 80s trying to up the boost and see where it goes.. then if i need a new fuel pump or type of fuel system broach it. I don't plan on running 400+ whp at all times.. I just picked up a new electronic boost controller so i can have in cabin boost control as well as having a high and low boost setting. high will only be at the track/ dyno or the occasional street run ( if low boost doesn't win lol) also I'm not trusting my boost controller it seems very erratic with what boost is, not to mention it doesn't make since how much each turn is

The kid I know was running a racetronix ls1 pump. then some time later added the harness only and just the harness, no tuning at all, dropped the AFR a full point. Harness only. We all know from the factory, the wiring is shady at best. Usually whatever it takes to get it out the door. Atleast thats how the cavalier's are. For the added security and increase in pump output just by getting the harness. Ill spend the extra for it every single time. It was 100% plug and play. mount the relay, attach the wire to alternator. done. Glad I did mine all at once.
