First step is to buy some good strong replacement roll pins. They are hard to find, try Fastenal. I will post specs later.
Second is, if you ever service the transmission or clutch its best to change the roll pins at that time, its a lot easier.
Third, its easier to remove the fuse box to access the roll pins and do the job, but it can be done with the driver side wheel removed. But its hard to get in and drive the pins out, so just disconnect the battery and remove the fuse box.
The roll pins are actually metric sized, but a 1 x 3/16 pin will work.
You can use a punch or a specific roll pin punch tool. Ya wanna be scared? Hand guns have roll pins so go to a gun shop and buy a tool

Line up and hammer it out

align the shift lever on the shaft and press in the new roll pin.
