I honestly didn't even look andrew. I'm not watching my boost gauge at 6000 rpm lol, it's between the wideband and the road.

holy CRAP that thing is long... now thats what i call a long tube... ♠♠♠♠ you dont even need a "downpipe" if your going catless lol. would this benefit me at all on my fully bolted but not tuned 2.4? or not worth it unless i'm f/i. i currently have the ca v2 shorty header. not sure if it really did anything for me compared to the stock header. I think it just gave me more torque than power

Short mid or long? I'm not sure what's the best for an N/A car
check out what the british are doing with the na eco's in the BTCC race series.
Post 1 Step 12 People, Josh does NOT trial fit the cat tube into the header. You will have to dremel or machine the inner bore of the cat tube to make it a slip fit into the header. It should not be forced in. Then coat with Red hi temp Permatex sealant and it wont leak. Dont overtorque the clamp, and re-torque it after running the system for 15 minutes or so.
Also, the 02 sensors are an issue on the header itself, they would have been better placed alongside the header collector on the driver side; make sure you wrap the 02 sensor wire with DEI heat insulation and tie wrap it up to the top of the rear mount, so it wont fall down on the header itself.
It is a very nice piece, apart from these small issues, I do not know what it does for power, ask Josh or Sean.
one of these days i think i'll pull it out and put the permatex on it. Also, it needs some kind of padding because i think my o2 sensors rattle on the heat shield under there. or it's the exhaust leak i hear, i dunno.

if you have rotated mounts the 02 sensor should just clear the heat shisld. If you did not open the short cat part to sleeve nicely into the header it will leak for sure, the clamp needs to fix the two vertical flanges together . permatex can help but it must be flush fitting the clamp wont do that. so that part is clear....the heat sheild is so soft you can dimple it up for clearance as wekk....
i have the rotated mounts, so it clears, but i think sometimes under a rough transition from on throttle to off, or visa versa it hits.

yeah, i noticed my heat sheild would do that so i just moved it away from the header and also left a lil gap from the body/chassis to make sure, havent really heard it dince
