TbandiT's Ion redline Story.
So since ive been ordering alot of parts lately i figured id make a little story of my car. I bought the car in june of 2009. I previously owned a a 2006 cobalt ss back in 06 but i lost the car due to a long story. So when i went to go get a new car in june of 09 i was gonig to look at a 2006 silver cobalt ss that was bone stock, when i got there they ended up selling the car so i was SOL. Well while the finance guy was going over **** with me i looked at the window and saw this blue high rise spoiler so i went out to see what it was and bam there it is a 2006 ion redline comp pack. At the time i diddnt know much about the redlines so i had no idea what the comp pack was but when i came up to see it i saw the recaro seats and boost gauge and i new i had to have it. I notice right away the car had a different exhaust when i saw the muffle which put a big smile on my face. So i went to test drive it and i right away new this thing was far from stock. It pulled some much harder then my old stock ss so i just fell in love. When i got back to the dealer i popped the hood and saw the K&N CAI and the smaller pulley and my questions were answered. heres what she looked like when i got her.
So i then found redline forums and i started learning everything i can about the lsj. The mods that were on the car when i bought it were as listed.

Future mods will be getting tuned for E85, new lowering springs and fe5 shocks and struts, ported and polished m62 and head, dual pass endplate, stage 2 axels, gmpp clutch, rk sport hood, zzp valve springs and retainers. eventually plan on forging the motor and either putting a 75 shot on it or picking up a tvs. ill post some more pics of the wideband installed and the dual gauge pod i made and finally finished later since im at work now. Also i will continue to update this thread as i put on the new brakes and get retuned and add more mods. Thanks for anyone who looked.
